New Director of Basketball Operations Brett Coxesdge, comes to Wichita,KS from Australia.As basketball continues to be a growing sport around the globe, the emergance of European and Middle Eastern players bring added depth and value to a Wichita State team, attempting to capture a second MVC championship. With the addition of Gal Mekel from Israel (a freshmen guard), WSU basketball team continues to reach out and expand the program in a positive manner.
Brett Coxesdge will provide a window in the global recruitig world. Mark Turgeon and his staff have created a pipline from Texas, the addition of Coxesdge as a member to the staff may help create a world wide pipeline. As Jim Schaus says, "It's a great time to be a Shocker.''
